FAQs
Where are your sweaters made?
The Luna Sweater is made in Victoria, BC by Emily Young. Each sweater is created by using both a vintage domestic knitting machine, and traditional hand knitting techniques.
Where is your wool from?
The merino wool is sourced from France. The supplier I use is passionate about sustainable and ethical production, and takes care to ensure every animal and person involved in the production of their yarn is treated with respect and care.
Will my sweater pill?
Yes. Pilling is a natural part of wool products, where the shorter fibres are being pulled from the yarn. Over time your sweater will pill less and less, and become even softer.
Do not pull on pills, as this will also pull out the longer fibres. If you want, you can carefully trim or shave off the pills.
When will I get my order?
Every sweater is made to order, and as such, please expect 3-4 weeks for your order to ship.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping in Canada is free for orders over $400. Otherwise, there is a flat shipping rate of $15 within Canada.
Free local pickup in Victoria, BC is available
International Shipping is a flat rate of $20
Are duties/tarrifs included?
No. Customers are responsible for any import fees and tariffs associated with their order.
US customers are strongly encouraged to order with caution, as current tariff rates are very high.
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted up to 14 days after delivery. Due to the made to order nature of our business, you may return your sweater for exchange or store credit only.
